Students, staff and families rejoiced and greeted one another and celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ which is believed to be a symbol of hope to humanity. The carols by students and a dramatic play on birth of Jesus Christ were the highlights of the event.
The event concluded with the famous song 'Silent Night' by the choir dancing to the tune with candles. The spectators joined them with their mobile phones with flash light on.
Chancellor of the University, Dr.Paul Dhinakaran commended the students for their performance and conveyed his Christmas and New Year wishes to the students.
