Presently, people are fed with misinformation and fear", accused Former MP CP Radhakrishnan at a counter protest held on CAA in Coimbatore on Friday.
Condemning the opposition parties in Tamil Nadu, CP Radhakrishnan vehemently slammed MK Stalin, Thozh Thirumavalavan and Vaiko for inciting violence in the State by injecting false information on Citizenship act among the people.
He alleged the political parties have tactically twisted and manipulated all aspects of CAA to suit their needs. This has resulted in widespread violence and communal hatred among the people.
"The Prime Minister or the Home Minister have not uttered a word about discriminating the Islam people living in India. Infact, clearcut explanations have been given regarding the citizenship act. Yet, the opposition parties are misinterepting the whole issue and confusing people", he accused.
He added that If such situation prevails, Tamil Nadu will see religious riots and the opposition parties will try to gain out of it.
