Though dengue is under control, medical camps, awareness programmes and distribution of nilavembu extract has been organised by the Valparai Municipality.
Further, municipality is going ahead with the distribution of the extract to prevent people contracting dengue and viral fever.
Municipality Commissioner, Saravana Babu has advised the officials to keep a watch on residential areas to check breeding of aedes mosquitos, which supposedly breeds during this period.
