As elections are to be held in two phases on December 27 and 30, the review meeting discussed on the arrangements made for smooth conduct of the elections especially security arrangements at poll booths ear market as 'sensitive'.
He informed that public can report violations regarding elections at 6383028272.
Speaking at the meeting the Nilgiris District Collector, Innocent Divya informed, "Since the Model Code of Conduct for the elections are in effect the flying squad members are instructed to stay alert and hold regular vehicle checks."
The District Collector and Election Officer, J. Innocent Divya, Superintendent of Police, V. Sasi Mohan and other officers took part in the meeting.
