Crocodiles in Moyar scare tourists

The Nilgiris: Foresters have issued a warning to tourists in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR) to not enter the Moyar River as crocodiles have been spotted in the river here.

The Nilgiris: Foresters have issued a warning to tourists in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR) to not enter the Moyar River as crocodiles have been spotted in the river here.

Recently, a few crocodiles have been spotted basking on the rocks in the river by tourists and foresters during the daytime.

As soon as the information surfaced, tourists were warned from entering into the river.

Though, there is a ban on tourists entering the Moyar river, those from other States tend to enter the lake, as they are unaware of the order.
