Tirupur: DMK cadres staged a demonstration in Tirupur, today against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, which it considers anti-Muslim.

State-wide agitations are being held by Dravida Munnetra Kazhgam (DMK) against CAB. Stating that the citizenship law is against the Muslims and the law discriminates people on religious lines and "clearly excluded" Sri Lankan Tamils, the DMK cadres protested in front of Tirupur Corporation on Tuesday.
Former Minister M.P. Swaminathan and many other DMK party cadres took part in the protests.
