Especially senior citizens who had come to submit petitions on old age pension left the Collectorate in upset.

Following the announcement of rural local body polls, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force across the State and hence all grievance meetings will remain cancelled until further announcement.
The officials explained the petitioners on the cancellation of the meet and advised them to drop their petitions in the box.
