The Nilgiris: The annual Santa Claus procession ahead of Christmas was held in Ooty on Sunday night. More than a thousand Christians participated and rejoiced the event by singing Christmas carols.
The Nilgiris: The annual Santa Claus procession ahead of Christmas was held in Ooty on Sunday night. More than a thousand Christians participated and rejoiced the event by singing Christmas carols.
Children clad in Santa costumes danced in the sleigh and offered sweets and gifts to the spectators. The Santa Claus procession, which began at the Central Bus Stand, went through Central Bus Stand Market, Charing Cross, Botanical Garden and concluded at the Sacred Hearts Church in Ooty.
Tourists and locals enjoyed watching the procession.
