Local body elections: Election Control Room set up at District Collectorate

Coimbatore: Ahead of the forthcoming local body polls, the District administration here, on Friday has opened a 24/7 election control room at the Collectorate.


Coimbatore: Ahead of the forthcoming local body polls, the District administration here, on Friday has opened a 24/7 election control room at the Collectorate. 

The control room will enable general public to register their complaints related to local body polls. 

Announcing the opening of the control room today, District Collector K. Rajamani requested the public to report any violations to toll-free number 1800-599-6000 or 0422-2301586. He assured that all complaints received will be dealt on priority and a block development officer will monitor the complaints and redressal.
