According to a release, Shop No:7 on Krishnasamy road was locked and sealed for non-payment of rent dues on Friday in the presence of the Mahesh Kangaraj, Assistant Commissioner (Central Zone).
Also, encroachments and 45 houses along the waterways of Ward No: 86 near Karumbukkadai and Noyyal river were demolished.
Executive Engineer (project) S. Ravichandran, South Zone Assistant Commissioner, T.R. Ravi and officers were present.
