Coimbatore: An advisory meeting for Nadhaswaram and Folk Artistes Association was held at Sri Subramaniaswamy Temple at Valparai, Coimbatore. The meeting was presided by businessman A.V. Vallikannu.

Thangavel, State President of Folk Artists Association honoured the artists with shields and certificates of appreciation.
Following this many resolutions were passed including issuance of welfare card for Nadhaswaram and folk artists, old age pension and loans to help them buy musical equipments.

The meeting was attended by District President of the association, M.K. Eashwaran and a host of State and District members of the association.
