Following the announcement of the Tamil Nadu Election Commission on the schedule for the local body polls (rural) in 27 districts, the mode of conduct came into effect from December 2.
As the local body elections are to be held on December 30 in Karamadai area, all political party posters falling under the jurisdiction were removed.
The District Collector has warned all parties to refrain from violating the election mode code of conduct and co-operate for smooth conduct of elections.
