Joining the bandwagon, the District CPI members took to the road on Friday at 54th ward of Tirupur Corporation where 200 plus housing units had to travel through deep potholes on a daily basis.
"Around 10 years back, tar roads were laid at Veerapandi area of the 54th Ward in Tirupur Corporation.
The roads are now completely battered and accidents have become a daily routine here", said the protestors.
The public along with the CPI members demanded the Tirupur Corporation to immediately address the issue.
