Coimbatore: As usual the grievance day at the City Corporation office here witnessed several petitioners who came to report the grievances at their respective wards/streets. Mostly, the petitions were on poor roads and street lights.

A total of 41 petitions were received and all petitions were directed to the respective Zonal officers for redressal. Various basic facilities like drinking water, street lights, road facilities and sanitation were among the complaints received, a release said.
Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy headed the meeting and received petitions. He assured the petitioners timely action and ordered the concerned authorities to take immediate action on all petitions.
Zonal Assistant Commissioner T Ravi, Saravanan, Annadurai, M Selvan, Mahesh Kanagaraj, Executive Engineer Parvathy, Urban Development Officer (Planning), Ravichandran, Urban Development officer Sasipriya, Corporation education officer Valliammal, Revenue Officer Manikam, were present at the meeting.
