The MSME's in our country play an important part in providing employment opportunities and contribute towards the growth and development of our country. The TN government offers appropriate training to the educated youth to develop them into first generation entrepreneurs through the 'New Entrepreneur Enterprise Development Scheme', the release said.
According to the release, the district administration is holding awareness sessions and seminars to create awareness among young entrepreneurs about various schemes they can avail.
At an event held at CODISSIA campus, a presentation regarding various loan schemes and grants offered by the district trade center were explained.
District Collect K. Rajamani interacted with the beneficiaries of this scheme who intern shared their experiences. He also questioned them regarding the pros and cons of the system.
During the discussion, he advised the new entrepreneurs to gain insights from experienced entrepreneurs and make use of the vocational training. He also encouraged them to highlight their woes to the District administration for redressal .
"Coimbatore district plays an important role in the industrial sector. Organisation here function in a very professional, unbiased and cooperative manner, thus attributing to the steady progress of the city. Budding entrepreneurs should prepare themselves thoroughly before commencing a new venture and learn deeper with the help of established entrepreneurs", the Collector advised.
"Importantly, young entrepreneurs should not be complacent and just dream of being a boss. They should be able to contribute their time and hardwork to reap success", the Collector said.
He also said that the government would conduct such meets every month and try to address their grievances swiftly.
