Coimbatore: Stalin, Edappadi Palanisamy has filled the political vacuum in Tamil Nadu and the Dravidian parties will rule in Tamil Nadu for the next 20 years, said Manitha Neya Jananayaga Katchi General Secretary and Legislator Tamimun Ansari said.

He participated in the welfare program organised on behalf of his party in Coimbatore.

Speaking to reporters, he said that “DGP Tripathi's directive that circulars and instructions be passed in Tamil language in the police force was welcome and that the political environment in the state of Maharashtra has posed a major threat to democracy though now normalcy has been returned. He urged the central government to take action against the deputy governor of the state, and urged the immediate withdrawal of the state governor.”

He said that “the central government should not attempt dual administration with the governors like how Kiran Bedi does in Pondicherry. The events that unfolded in Maharashtra is demolition of democracy.” He also opined that it is important to appoint posts like Mayor through direct elections.

The forces of North India have provoked few from Kodambakkam to insist that there is a vacuum in Tamil Nadu. But Stalin, Edappadi Palanisamy has filled the political vacuum in Tamil Nadu and the Dravidian parties will rule in Tamil Nadu for the next 20 years.

Some people suggest that miracles will happen but Manitha Neya Jananayaga Katchi believes in conducting local elections. He said the criticism of the Tughlaq editor Gurmurthi on AIADMK was disturbing, and added that only the AIADMK leadership can answer it. He also opined that if Late CM Jayalalithaa was alive such comments would not have been raised against AIADMK.
