Earlier, Dr K. Baskaran inspected the ValanKulam footpath project worth Rs. 4.31 crores, ValanKulam under bridge developmental projects worth Rs.23.83 crore, Rs. 224.10 crores worth developmental projects in Ukkadam Periyakulam and the Bio gas centre which converts vegetable and food waste to organic waste near Bharathi park in West Zone Ward 22.
Harmander Singh, Principal Secretary (Municipal Administration and Water Supply) inspected the colorful initiative by the City Corporation at the foot paths in Town hall, Big Bazaar street in front of the Coimbatore Corporation office.
The inspection took place in the presence of Commissioner of Municipal Administration Dr K. Baskaran.
Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy, City Engineer, L. Lakshman and other Assistant Commissioners of five zones were present.
