Coimbatore: The body of Maoist Srinivasan, who was shot dead by the Thunderbolt police 28 days ago on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, was cremated at the crematorium in Coimbatore.

Four Maoists from Tamil Nadu were shot dead during a gun battle between Thunderbolt Special Operations and Maoists on October 28 and 29 in the Manjankandi forest on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
Their bodies were kept at the Thrissur GH. In this scenario, on November 13, the body of Maoist Karthik from Pudukkottai district was handed over to his relatives and was cremated in Coimbatore.
Following which, the body of Maoist Srinivasan from Nandan, Chennai, was handed over to his brother Rajagopal,, today.

After 28 days, their body was cremated at the crematorium in Nanjundapuram in the presence of their relatives.
