Coimbatore: "Whether you are a longtime fitness freak or just made your debut into fitness training, think twice if you are doing it the right way as exercising the wrong way can do more harm than we can fathom", said Almos Begum, celebrity fitness trainer and guest speaker at Monday musings by Coimbatore Management Association (CMA).
The session was all about exercising the right way, the secret to losing belly fat and the crucial role played by lifestyle in achieving desired results.

“The only way to lose belly fat is through healthy nutrition and exercise” emphasised the celebrity fitness trainer from International Sports Science Association USA who explained three ways through which one can lose his/her belly fat.
Highlighting the importance of fitness in our lives, she opined, "Everyone wants to have a fit midsection of our body. Many think, running is not a solution to lose belly fat. It's common among people with belly fat to think that hitting the gym hard and burning calories will help them get into shape and a flat stomach. But, it's wrong. Practicing the right method of workouts at an optimum level combined with a balanced diet alone can yield results."
If exercises or not complemented by balanced diet or vice versa, one cannot see results, she added.
"Healthy food habit, high metabolism, intake of vegetables and healthy fat are the secret mantras to lose belly fat at a quick pace. Consumption of seasonal fruits and vegetables will do wonders to your body. And, limiting or avoiding processed food items will help keep a check on belly fat. All the three macros (carbohydrate, lipids and protein) are very important to have a healthy body", she informed.

The session proved to be very insightful to the audience as they could take tips from an expert to achieve a fit body, the right way.
