More than 20 wild boars strayed into the residential area in Manjoor, on the wee hours of Monday. After roaming for over a couple of hours, the boars left into the nearby reserve forest area. Fearing attack, the residents were forced to stay indoors.
The residents are left worried as movement of wild boars could invite leopards and they cited that in the past leopards have entered their area in search of wild boars. Hence, they have requested the forest officials to chase the herd into deep forests.
