Do we call it a shame or indecency..? Stalin tweets about the Maharashtra midnight coup

Coimbatore: Slamming strongly against the State of political affairs in Maharashtra and the twist of events that brought BJP back to power in the State, DMK leader Stalin has tweeted that he is at loss of words to express the shame and shocked at the way democracy has been assassinated.

Coimbatore: Slamming strongly against the State of political affairs in Maharashtra and the twist of events that brought BJP back to power in the State, DMK leader Stalin has tweeted that he is at loss of words to express the shame and shocked at the way democracy has been assassinated.

While, as of Friday night, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray was poised to be the State's CM, however, in an unexpected turn of events, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister respectively in Raj Bhavan on Saturday morning.

"Democratic assassination would be a lesser word to describe the recent coup in Maharashtra", tweeted Stalin.

"Am at loss of word to describe the ugly turn of events. Do I call it a shame or indecency?" questioned Stalin in his tweet.

He added that BJP has no respect about the political process and has made the Governor of the State a doll to nod his head for all their unethical moves. "Beyond lobbying for seats, issuing threats and grabbing the power has earned much dishonour for the democracy and the nation at large", he slammed in his tweet.
