Coimbatore: In response to actor Rajinikanth's comment on political instability directed at the Chief Minister, Edappadi K Palaniswami, the BJP State General Secretary Vanathi Srinivasan opined that the remark was not necessarily directed at any particular person.

While paying homage to V O Chidambaram Pillai, fondly known as 'Kappalotiya Tamizhan' on his 83rd death anniversary at the oil press set up in his remembrance at the Central Prison, the BJP State General Secretary opined "Actor Rajinikanth has expressed his views on the post of CM saying," Who will become the CM is in the hands of whom?" and nobody has an idea of who will get what position in the Government."

She added that "Those who have worked for long and are interacting with the public will win the place. Rajinikanth's remarks on CM's political instability is not necessarily against any particular person and one can expect a miracle in governance at any point of time."

She reiterated that only time can tell on the results of upcoming assembly elections and added that Rajinikanth has to decide on his party and whether he is contesting in the election.

Commenting on the remarks of a void in the TN politics, Vanathi Srinivasan said, "It is not necessary for all the allied parties to talk alike and every allied party will have a different opinion on it. It is BJP's opinion that there is a void in the TN while AIADMK's opinion duffers on it."
