Recently, a leopard wa spotted sitting on the side wall of a bridge on the Valparai-Pollachi Road, near Kamaraj Nagar. People in the area panicked and fled the spot. However, when more people arrived at the spot to catch a glimpse of the leopard, it disappeared into a tea garden. Residents in the area have requested for the immediate capture of the leopard.
