Coimbatore: Tweeting on the 31-year old Anuradha's grievous road accident in Coimbatore on Monday on account of a tottering AIADMK flagpole, DMK Chief M K Stalin questioned the AIADMK as to when the AIADMK party will put an end to its advertisement fanaticism.
In his official Twitter page, DMK Chief M K Stalin tweeted, "Complaints are on the rise that the accident took place because of the AIADMK flagpole and the police are hiding the truth. One more woman has become a victim of AIADMK's advertisement culture. When will their advertisement fanaticism end?"
Rajeswari (31) alias Anuradha, the sole breadwinner for her family who was on a two-wheeler on Avinashi Road en route to Gokulam Park for work on Monday, when she was grievously injured while trying to avoid a tottering AIADMK flagpole by the roadside. Braking suddenly, Anuradha caused her vehicle to skid while she herself fell onto the road and was caught under the wheels of a lorry that was behind her vehicle.
Anuradha has suffered serious injuries to both legs and having been rushed to a private hospital by on-lookers, is under treatment now. Her relatives are demanding action against those who had erected the flagpole for the Chief Minister's visit to the city for a private function.
