Coimbatore: Members of Viduthalai Siruthaigal petitioned at the Grievance Day meeting in Coimbatore to treat a wounded elephant calf in Valparai. The Viduthalai Siruthaigal Coimbatore Zone Secretary, Kalaiarasan mentioned in the petition that an elephant and its 8-month old calf which was wounded had camped in the Thaimudi estate in Valparai. He requested the administration to treat the elephant calf immediately.
