In one such awareness initiative held in Coonoor bus stand, stage shows and mime show to showcase the ill-effects of alcohol and substance abuse was enacted by the artists. They elucidated on how alcohol consumption could ruin families, the individual and the society at large.
To alleviate the consequences of drug and alcohol dependence amongst the individuals, the artists through a stage show highlighted on the health issues like infertility which is a result of alcoholism.
Pamphlets were distributed to the public on the ill-effects of alcohol and substance abuse.
