The Nilgiris: A five-year-old leopard was found dead at the Glendale private tea estate in Coonoor.



The workers at the estate found a dead leopard and then informed the Forest Department about it. Following this, a team led by Forest Ranger Saravanan including Forester Felix and other forest guards Manikandan, Nagaraj, Vikram and Logeshwaran rushed to the spot and examined the dead body of the leopard.



As per reports, the deceased leopard is a 5-year-old male and reportedly died in a clash between two leopards. Veterinarian Raj Murali was summoned to perform the autopsy after which the body of the leopard was burned.
