Thanjavur: The Thanjavur police arrested Hindu Makkal Katchi leader, Arjun Sampath for draping a saffron shawl across the Thiruvalluvar statue and adorning the statue with a Rudraksha Mala and 'Vibhuti' on its forehead, in Udayalur in Thanjavur.
