As part of the investigation, officials led by the Circle Supply Officer, Murugan raided the market at Thennampalayam in Tirupur.
Officials warned traders that possessing over 10 tonnes of onions will be considered as hoarding. It is to be noted that onions are being sold for Rs.25 per kg in Tirupur markets.
