Coimbatore: In a tragic accident, two youth were killed when their two-wheeler was hit by an 108 ambulance near Sulur.
Vikram and Satheesh Kumar who hail from Madialagan Nagar in Coimbatore were painters returning home on a two-wheeler after their day's work. An 108 ambulance from Palladam collided head-on with their two-wheeler near the Sulur bus stop, killing both youth on the spot. The Sulur police who were informed of the accident reached the spot and sent the bodies to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
The police are conducting further investigation of the accident.
