Coimbatore : According to a GO, Uma IPS who was holding the position of Deputy Commissioner (Law & Order) in Tirupur has been transfered to Coimbatore and will take charge as Deputy Commissioner (Traffic).
Coimbatore : According to a GO, Uma IPS who was holding the position of Deputy Commissioner (Law & Order) in Tirupur has been transfered to Coimbatore and will take charge as Deputy Commissioner (Traffic).
Earlier, the position was held by Sujith Kumar IPS, who later took charge as Superintendent of Police. Following him, Perumal IPS DC of Crime branch was handling the division as additional duty.
Now, Uma IPS will take charge as the new DC of traffic, Coimbatore City. The official order was released by Niranjan Martin, Additional Principal Secretary on Saturday.
