Tirupur: The inauguration event of the public e-service centre and training centre built in a budget of Rs. 37 lakhs for weavers of Kovilvazhi and Ganapathipalayam area was held today.

The Minister of Animal Husbandry, Udumalai K Radhakrishnan inaugurated the buildings and provided welfare assistance to the weavers on behalf of the handloom association.
Briefing the reporters later, he said that the Amma's government was always committed to the development of the weavers and the people that has reflected in the recent victory in the by-elections held in Vikravandi and Nanguneri.
Similarly, the teachers of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Tirupur with 100% pass percentage were felicitated at the event.

They were jointly honored by the Education Minister Sengottaiyan and Animal Husbandry Minister Udumalai K Radhakrishnan with certificates and shields. MLAs, District Collector and other officials were also present.
