Coimbatore: Around 250 tribals from Dhumanur and Sembukkarai hamlets from Anaikatti underwent free health check-up at the medical checkup camp organised by Chandran’s Yuva foundation in Anaikatti here, a release from the NGO noted.
Coimbatore: Around 250 tribals from Dhumanur and Sembukkarai hamlets from Anaikatti underwent free health check-up at the medical checkup camp organised by Chandran’s Yuva foundation in Anaikatti here, a release from the NGO noted.
According to the press release from the NGO, about 250 people from Dhumanur and Sembukkarai Tribal Settlements took part in the free medical camp. Vitals and other health check ups were conducted for the tribals and health advices were given to them by the doctors.
A team comprising a total of 30 volunteers including four special Doctors including a General Physician, Diabetologist, Dentist took part in the camp and advised the people on healthy lifestyles.

Also, the team distributed stationery kits like notebooks, pencils, etc. to the school students in the tribal settlement. The team also distributed clothes for children, men, women and senior citizens to the entire tribal community.
Dr.Ganga, Dr. Shanthi, Dr. P.S.Sreekumar, Dr.Chandni, Dr. Sheba, Shanmuga Sundram - Principal- Anaikatti, AMM. Siva, Forest ranger, Sarammal, Forest staff were the team present during the camp.
C. Sivanesan, Founder and Managing Trustee and S Shasikala, Chairperson and CEO of Chandran's Yuva Foundation, chaired the camp.
