All Souls Day celebrated in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Thousands of Christians from the city paid homage to the departed souls on All Souls day which is celebrated on November 2 across the World.

Coimbatore: Thousands of Christians from the city paid homage to the departed souls on All Souls day which is celebrated on November 2 across the World.

Families gathered at the cemetry where they buried their departed ones and paid floral tributes, lit candles and offered prayers to them. 



A special prayer service was held this morning at all churches to commemorate the day. Holy water was sprinkled on all graves at the resoe rice Church cemetry. 

The graveyard at Sowripalayam, Kovaipudur, Selvapuram, Trichy road was thronged with people to offer prayers.
