Coimbatore: Coimbatore chapter of Young Indians (Yi), a wing of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised a session on 'Laughter Yoga' with Dr.Madan Kataria, Founder of Global Laughter Yoga Movement here in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore chapter of Young Indians (Yi), a wing of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised a session on 'Laughter Yoga' with Dr.Madan Kataria, Founder of Global Laughter Yoga Movement here in Coimbatore.
Having started the movement in 1995, the Laughter Yoga therapy gained its popularity in around 110 countries with 16,000 laughing clubs existing globally. Madan Kataria’s revolution towards Laughter Yoga was also specially recognized by Aamir Khan through the program ‘Satyameva Jayate’.

The session was fun-filled and interactive, where Dr.Madan Kataria made the participants engaged the participants with enticing laughing exercises.

Dr.Madan Kataria who is also a General physician said, “Health, Happiness and world peace are the vision of our Laughter Yoga movement, as a biological fact we must know that laughing increases the net supply of oxygen to brain cells which amplifies our stamina and the levels of the work we do, by faking a laugh, we can gain so much of momentum in our brain. More than 30 research results say that Laughter boosts the blood circulation in the human body.”
He also added, “Laughter is a very good tool for team building, people who laugh together also tend to work together, it increases the level of enthusiasm which also boosts your foundation for creativity. The plays we do in the name of Laughter Yoga strengthen your roots for innovation and innovation is the only thing needed in almost every industry.”
