The annual race was jointly organised by Nilgiris district administration, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation and the Department of Tourism.
Hundreds of tourists gathered at the boat house to witness the annual boat race. Many tourists from various parts of India took part in the boat race under three categories -- Men's doubles, Women's doubles and Couple category.
Apart from the tourists, a special boat race was held for the staff of the boat house.
Archana and Karthik from Ooty won in the Doubles (men and women) category, Divya and Bharathi from Trichy won in the female category and Britto & Raj from Ooty won in the male category.
