Magimai Raj is a resident of Lourde Puram and driver of a private vehicle belonging to a knitwear company. Last Tuesday, when Magimai Raj was driving, he accidentally hit a goat which irked Karuppusamy who was in the area, An irate Karuppusamy warned Magimai Raj not to use the road ever again.
It is reported that Karuppusamy again noticed Magimai Raj driving through the same road and hence assaulted him saying that the road was built in the money that the Government had sanctioned him. This created a furore among the residents of Lourde Puram who staged a siege in front of the Sevur Police Station demanding to file a complaint on Karuppusamy.
