Coimbatore: Even as the stray dog menace is reaching alarming proportions in the city, stray dogs roaming inside the Bharathiyar University campus attacked and killed a stag on Wednesday night.
The stag was roaming inside the campus along with a heard of deer and was reportedly chased by the stray dogs. It is reported that the dogs pounced on the stag and devoured it. The carcass was spotted by the Bharathiyar University security who informed forest officials.
