Coimbatore: Burglars broke into the house of a BSNL employee Rajagopal and looted 80 sovereign gold and Rs.1,40,000 cash when Rajagopal and his family were away from their home.
Rajagopal, a resident of Postal Colony, Perur registered a complaint with the Perur police that burglars had broken the doors of his house and burgled valuables belonging to them.
Based on his complaint, forensic experts visited the spot to collect evidence. The Perur police have launched a search for the burglars.
