Jebasingh from Ramanathapuram area in Coimbatore was one among the hundreds of people who visited the 112-feet tall Adi Yogi statue at Isha foundation at the foothills of the Velliangiri Hills here on Monday.
While people were busy clicking pictures of the tall-standing statue which is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "Largest Bust Sculpture” in the world, Jebasingh walked towards the Adi Yogi statue and began proselytizing about Jesus with a victory kneel.
Meanwhile, it is alleged that volunteers at Isha took him away. Later, a police complaint was filed for his malicious intent to spread hatred and create ruckus in a spiritual place.
Later, he was warned and released by the police. Lately, a video of Jebasingh preaching Christianity at Isha has gone viral in social media platforms.
This is not the first time such incidents have happened in Hindu religious and spiritual places, as Christians use this as an opportunity to show off their allegiance not understanding that it's actually spreading hatred among fellow citizens.
