Coimbatore: At the grievance meeting held today at the District Collectorate, K. Rajamani, District Collector received petitions from the public on various issues relating to issuing patta, improving infrastructural facilities, allotment of welfare schemes for the elderly and physically challenged.

He distributed wheel chairs for three bilateral amputee patients worth Rs. 17,730. And, Rs. 7,230 worth of tricycle for a physically handicapped person.
The Collector also distributed four-legged sticks worth Rs. 1,960 to two persons and Rs. 4,695 worth of walking sticks and Braille watch for the visually impaired.
District Revenue Officer, Ramadurai Murugan, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Ruban Shankar Raj, Planning Director (women welfare), Selvarasu, District Backward Classes Welfare Officer, Suresh and other officials were present.
