Tirupur: In a residential area of 600 families in Edayankinaru, Dharapuram, S.R.S had built its factory three years ago in the area to grind chicken, mutton and beef wastes to produce manure.
The smoke emanating from the process of grinding meat wastage has reportedly created health issues among the residents like suffocation and cough. Multiple requests to the S.R.S factory to take necessary steps to avoid such blatant pollution were in vain. Hence, affected residents have submitted a petition to the Tirupur Collector to relocate the factory.
