Coimbatore : MP Ganeshamurthy who was recently elected from the Erode constituency visited the MDMK office at Gandhipuram and paid his respects to the statue of Arignar Anna. Later, while speaking to the media, Ganeshamurthy stated, "Even if BJP had won the overall election, it was the DMK allied parties that won in South India. We, the elected candidates who are now members of the Parliament will together work for the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu."

Ganeshamurthy also promised to provide solutions for issues related to Mullai Periyar, Amaravathi and Bhavani. He assured that all the 38 MPs would work toward the welfare of the TN people.
