Invites have been to sent to World leaders to take part in the swearing-in ceremony. The list includes leaders from the P-5 states, immediate neighbourhood, SE Asia and West Asia.
Speculations are rife that US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping could be among the leaders invited.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the 17th Lok Sabha will be constituted by June 3 with a new set of cabinet.
Before his swearing-in, Modi is likely to visit Varanasi and thank the voters from where he has been elected for the second time with a huge margin of 4,75,754 votes, which was 3.75 lakh in 2014.
