The Nilgiris : The reputed Lawrence School at Lovedale near Ooty which operates under the aegis of the Human Resource Development Ministry of India as an international private school celebrated its 161st Founders Day amidst great fanfare, over a period of three days.

As part of the celebrations, Lawrence School students aged between 8 to 15 enthralled the audience with amazing equestrian skills as part of the display. They performed deft physical exercises in sitting and sleeping positions, crossed hurdles whilst atop the horses. The students have been trained to participate in equestrian sports in the National Games.
