Following the massive landslide victory secured by the BJP and Modi, world leaders have offered their congratulations to Modi who is all set for a second five-year term as the Prime Minister of India.
The Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe was the first to congratulate Modi tweeting, "Congratulations to #NarendraModi on a magnificent victory! We look forward to working closely with you."
The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe offered his congratulations over a telephonic conversation with Modi while Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Modi over his leadership.
