Coimbatore : 5,558 postal votes have been registered in the Coimbatore Lok Sabha Constituency which comprises of six assembly segments - CBE (North), CBE (South), Kaundampalayam, Singanallur, Sullur and Palladam.

Out of the 5,558 votes, 3,131 votes have been polled for BJP Candidate, CP Radhakrishnan and 2,657 votes are being polled for P.R. Natarajan, CPI (M) candidate.
Shortly, counting of VVPATs will commence at the Government College of Technology. District Collector, K. Rajamani supervised the postal vote counting. All the postal votes were counted at the voting desks allotted to Singanallur assembly consitutency.
Out of the 90 counting tables, 20 tables have been allotted to Kavundampalayam assembly constituency.
