Coimbatore : District cadres of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) here on Wednesday, petitioned the Coimbatore Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan seeking action on Minister Rajendra Balaji for his threatening comments on MNM President, Kamal Haasan saying "Kamal's tongue should he chopped off".
The AIADMK legislator was reacting to Kamal Haasan's Hindu terrorist remark when he warned that somebody would cut off Haasan's tongue in the future and, further, demanded the Election Commission to ban the Party.
Responding to the onslaught, the party has already condemned the remarks of the Minister for Milk and Dairy Development, staying that he lacks political ethics and personal dignity.

Condemning this statement from the Minister, MNM had already filed a case at the Chennai Commissioner's office.
Now, the Coimbatore district MNM incharges Prabhu, Thambu Raj, Thamarai Kannan and Sidco Siva along with the party cadres met the police commissioner here seeking action on the Minister's criminal intimidation.
