On May 16, two college students rescued a abandoned baby wrapped inside a cloth bag at the back gate of government hospital. The child was admitted to the GH with the help of 108 ambulance.
The baby was given first aid and on Monday handed over to the orphanage home for children (LIFELINE) in the presence of the officer of State Child Safety Commission and Resident Medical Officer, Dr. Soundaravel of Government Hospital Coimbatore.
