Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Cattery Club affiliated to Alliance of Cat Fanciers (ACF) on Sunday, here launched an exclusive club for cats.
Sudhakar Katikineni, a cat expert and Judge from Bangalore inaugurated the 'Coimbatore Cattery Club'.
Addressing the media, Pratap, President of the Club said that "This Cattery Club is being launched for the well being of cats and will act as a guide for cat lovers and breeders to grow their cats in a healthy way . This club is registered under standard norms and aims to improve the standards of growing cats."
The club plans to organise cat shows and many interesting events focussing on cats.
Annie Carroll, secretary, Reegan, Joint secretary and Pratheeba, Treasurer of the club and Cat lovers, breeders, traders from various parts of India took part.
